Katherine Congelosi, MD grew up in Montgomery, NY.  She went to Cornell as an undergraduate, and then kept moving northwest to complete medical school in Rochester at the U of R. She stayed in Rochester for her residency, and served as an administrative chief resident in her final year. During residency, Dr. Congelosi received awards for excellence in family planning, urogynecology and her research project. She received the Strong Clinical Faculty teaching award since starting at ParkWest.

Dr. Congelosi practices full spectrum general obstetrics and gynecology. She has particular interests in obstetrics, contraception and family planning, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Congelosi and her husband, who was born and raised in Rochester, have three young children. They have a son and recently had twin girls. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and baking.
